Akagera National Park

The warm and low-lying plains of Akagera encompass savannah, woodland, wetlands, and numerous lakes. In collaboration with African Parks, our goal is to transform this national park into a premier safari destination.

The park's expansive open areas are ideal for game viewing, and we are actively working to increase the populations of the Big Five over time. Since 2010, we have significantly reduced poaching to an all-time low through the introduction of a helicopter, a canine unit, and rhino trackers.
